One of the most striking parts of the east side of Oahu is the ahupuaa of Waimanalo. It includes the string of islands that includes Manana. There is a quiet spot called Kaiona where you get a beautiful view of it and can watch the light dance all day on its ever-changing face. This unique, one-of-a-kind, oil on linen-laid panel was created by hand in one sitting as part of my plein air series documenting the visible changes of our warming planet.
