Kualoa Beach Park offers remarkable views of the picturesque Mokolii Island, along with the headland of Mokapu peninsula in Kaneohe. The pattern of the land below is repeated in the forms of the clouds above. This quick sketch includes the artificial sea-wall that has been revealed by our climate’s influence on rising sea levels and beach erosion. It is a unique, one-of-a-kind, oil on linen-laid panel created by hand in one sitting as part of my plein air series documenting the visible changes of our warming planet.
