Twin Oil on Linen-laid Panel

Makapuu is one of my favorite subjects on Oahu. With views in every direction, it is a never-ending source of inspiration, including its charming lighthouse. Sometimes, I like to practice Van Dyck’s trick of painting twin canvases side by side simultaneously. This unique, one-of-a-kind, oil on panel plein air diptych was created by hand in one sitting.
